Abington won its fifth straight game with a convincing win

Abington 66, Hatboro-Horsham 40

Shooting 56 percent from the field, Abington won its fifth straight game with the convincing win over Hatboro-Horsham. Up 26-15 at the half, the Galloping Ghosts put the game away with a 24-7 third quarter.

Manir Waller led a balanced scoring effort with 12 points, to go along with nine rebounds, six steals and five assists.

Waller now has 58 steals for the season. Rob Bell added 11 points, three steals and five assists.

In all, 12 different Abington players scored in the game, including senior Ramsey Biolliott, who had six, his first points of the season.

The Ghosts (12-9, 10-3 SOL) are securely in the District One Class 6A playoff field, having started the night at No. 14. They host SOL American champ Cheltenham on Thursday.

Hatboro-Horsham (1-20, 0-13 SOL) was led by Zehier Cheeze’s 16 points, while Jack Marvin added 10. The Hatters’ season finale is Thursday at Plymouth Whitemarsh.
