As I’m helping my brother carry presents from their baby shower to the car, he checks his phone and sees that Kobe Bryant and others are reported to have passed away in a tragic helicopter crash.

Kobe will certainly go down as one of the best basketball players in history and one of the most influential athletes of our lifetime.

Despite not being with us anymore, Kobe will continue to impact athletes and the game of the basketball with the many quotes and stories that he left behind for us.

So let’s take a page out of the book out of one the best athletes of our generation and chase our dreams without the fear of failure deterring us from following our goals. Visualize your success rather than worrying about what “could” happen if we fail. Be obsessed.
