Golden Hawks Struggles To Find Groove Against Boyertown


The Golden Hawks struggled to get their offense going on Monday, getting easily dispatched by Boyertown, 8-2.

Nolan Kline earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Boyertown. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over six innings, striking out five. Trey Yesavage threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jake Barder took the loss for the Golden Hawks. He allowed five hits and four runs over three and a third innings, striking out three.

Jon Pinciotti, Jake Barder, Pat Gannon, Jared Ennis, and Emilio Pallante each collected one hit to lead the Golden Hawks.

Boyertown scattered 11 hits in the game. Cole Hertzler, Kline, Chris Davis, and Derick Basile all managed multiple hits for Boyertown. Boyertown didn’t commit a single error in the field. Hertzler had the most chances in the field with ten.
