Golden Hawks Claims Blow Out Win Over William Tennent Thanks To Fourth Inning Boost

An eight-run fourth inning led the Golden Hawks to a 10-2 victory on Thursday. The Golden Hawks offense in the inning was led by Emilio PallanteTrey ObarowskiJared EnnisAyden Flint, and Gianni Gilch, who each had RBIs in the inning.

In the first inning, William Tennent got their offense started when X Delgado doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Golden Hawks knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Bubba Wilkinson grounded out, scoring one run.

The Golden Hawks pulled away for good with one run in the third inning.

The Golden Hawks scored eight runs in the fourth inning.

PallanteObarowski, EnnisFlint, and Gilch each had RBIs in the big inning.

Jake Barder was the winning pitcher for the Golden Hawks. He lasted five innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out eight and walking one. Zach Ramirez and Jon Pinciotti entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Pawley took the loss for William Tennent. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on three hits and striking out two.

Jack O’Neill, Jon PinciottiCollin Schaffer, Jared Ennis, and Trey Obarowski each collected one hit to lead the Golden Hawks. The Golden Hawks where sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Gianni Gilch had the most chances in the field with 11.

Delgado went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead William Tennent in hits.
