Golden Hawks Pitches Well, But Can’t Find Enough Runs In Loss To Archbishop Moeller

Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but Archbishop Moeller was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the Golden Hawks on Tuesday. Brandon Sherwood started the game for the Golden Hawks and recorded nine outs.

Andrew Deyhle was on the hill for Archbishop Moeller. He surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out five.

Sherwood was on the pitcher’s mound for Golden Hawks. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four and walking zero. Dylan Wichterman, Brett Marino, Michael Rabayda, and Zach Ramirez each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, two-thirds of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.

Emilio Pallante went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Golden Hawks in hits.
