Halifax County Captures Lead Early To Defeat Golden Hawks

The Golden Hawks fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 2-1 loss to Halifax County on Saturday.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Halifax County pitchers struck out seven, while the Golden Hawks sat down two.

In the first inning, Halifax County got their offense started.

Shane Walter, Emilio Pallante, and Trey Obarowski each collected one hit to lead the Golden Hawks.

Halifax County didn’t commit a single error in the field. Blake Duffer had the most chances in the field with seven.
