Northampton Bombers Junior Legion Holds Off Newtown (2018 JRL) As 7-Run Deficit Is Nearly Erased

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion built a seven-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Newtown (2018 JRL)’s charge for a 7-5 victory on Wednesday. Newtown (2018 JRL) scored five runs in the failed comeback on a groundout by Justin Mela, a error, a walk by Andrew DelSignore, and a hit batter (Kusters).

Jonathon Pinciotti led Northampton Bombers Junior Legion to victory by driving in six runs. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Pinciotti drove in runs on a grand slam in the first and a double in the fifth.
