Two Northampton Bombers Junior Legion Pitchers Team Up In Shutout Victory Against Langhorne (2018 JRL)

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion defeated Langhorne (2018 JRL) 8-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Matt Camp induced a groundout from Ryan to finish off the game.

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion secured the victory thanks to five runs in the fourth inning. Northampton Bombers Junior Legion’s big inning was driven by doubles by Alex Neeld and Alex Cucinotta, a sacrifice fly by Jonathon Pinciotti, and a groundout by Raphael Vogeley.

A single by James in the first inning was a positive for Langhorne (2018 JRL).

Jack O’Neill led the Northampton Bombers Junior Legion to victory on the hill. He allowed four hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five. Camp threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Schweiker toed the rubber for Langhorne (2018 JRL). He surrendered five runs on five hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one. DelGuenio threw three and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion tallied nine hits. Neeld and Pinciotti all had multiple hits for Northampton Bombers Junior Legion. Pinciotti and Neeld all had two hits to lead Northampton Bombers Junior Legion.
