Pinciotti’s Walk-Off Gives Northampton Bombers Junior Legion Victory Over Southampton

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Southampton. The game was tied at four with Northampton Bombers Junior Legion batting in the bottom of the ninth when Jonathon Pinciotti singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion fired up the offense in the first inning, when Pinciotti singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Northampton Bombers Junior Legion tied things up at four. Jack O’Neill’s sac fly scored one run for Northampton Bombers Junior Legion.
Zach Ramirez was on the mound for Northampton Bombers Junior Legion. He allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out two.

Bussinger was on the hill for Southampton. He allowed four hits and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out two. Ropars and Fanelli entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

Northampton Bombers Junior Legion tallied eight hits. Pinciotti and Kyle Bruck all managed multiple hits for Northampton Bombers Junior Legion. Bruck and Pinciotti each collected two hits to lead Northampton Bombers Junior Legion.

Carelli went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Southampton in hits.
