#19 UPPER DARBY 52, #14 SOUDERTON 40
The Indians have survived their share of adversity, but they couldn’t overcome a tough shooting night in Friday’s opening round game. They rallied from an early 9-2 hole to trail by just one two minutes into the second quarter, 15-14. The Indians were outscored 13-1 over the final six minutes of the opening half and trailed 28-15 at the intermission.

Down but not out, the Indians staged a rally. A Dom Natale basket pulled Souderton to within five, and it was a 33-31 game after Jack Towsen scored. Brian Reiner buried a 3-pointer from the top of the circle, and the Indians still trailed by just two heading into the final quarter, 36-34.
That’s as close as they would get as Upper Darby outscored their hosts 16-6 to earn the win.
Natale, Jack Towsen and Jason Price each scored nine points to lead the Indians. Both Natale and Andrew Vince returned from injuries to play in Friday’s contest.
Souderton (7-5 SOL) closed out its season with a 13-10 record.
