Huge Second Quarter Highlighted A Strong Day For The Golden Bears’ Offense

A huge second quarter highlighted a strong day for the Golden Bears’ offense on Saturday. The win capped a perfect 3-0 week for the Bears.

Tyler Ibbotson hit a trio of 3-point shots to lead Upper Moreland’s 24-point second frame while the UM defense didn’t allow double-digit scoring in any quarter.

Jordan Gregg led the Bears with 14 points, including three 3s, while Ibbotson scored 12 on four 3-pointers, all in the first half. McKie Walker added 11 points, including three 3s.

Nine different players got in the book for the Golden Bears, who connected on 11 three-pointers.

“Everyone played well,” UM coach Sean Feeley said. “It was a good week for Upper Moreland basketball.”

Upper Moreland (10-5, 5-5 SOL) – 10th in the latest District 1 5A power rankings – will host Upper Dublin on Tuesday.
