Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between the Golden Hawks and Harry S. Truman where the Golden Hawks prevailed 13-8.

In the first inning, the Golden Hawks got their offense started. An error scored one run for Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks scored seven runs in the third inning. Jared Ennis, Ayden Flint, Bubba Wilkinson and Luke Gregory each had RBIs in the frame.
Harry S. Truman scored four runs in the fourth inning. Joey Wright, Tim Foley, Chris Haer, and Mike Finsel all drove in runs in the frame.
Joe Purcell was the winning pitcher for the Golden Hawks. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Brett Marino and Zach Ramirez entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Tyler Chew was on the mound for Harry S. Truman. He surrendered eight runs on four hits over two and a third innings, striking out two. John Wright and Chris Taylor entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.
The Golden Hawks scattered ten hits in the game. Emilio Pallante and Jared Ennis each managed three hits to lead the Golden Hawks.
Evan Profy led Harry S. Truman with two hits in four at bats.
