Golden Hawks Holds Off Neshaminy As 5-Run Deficit Is Nearly Erased


The Golden Hawks built a five-run lead in the sixth inning and then held off Neshaminy’s charge for a 5-3 victory on Thursday. Neshaminy scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Joe Kaleck, a walk by Tyler Jones, and a groundout by Maguire Fein.

The Golden Hawks earned the victory despite allowing Neshaminy to score three runs in the sixth inning. Neshaminy’s big inning was driven by a walk by Jones, a single by Kaleck, and a groundout by Fein.


The Golden Hawks put up three runs in the fifth inning. 
The Golden Hawks scored its runs on an RBI home run by Trey Obarowski.

Michael Rabayda was on the mound for Golden Hawks. He went five and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out five and walking one.

Jake Fehrle started the game for Neshaminy. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out one and walking one. Max Temple threw two and a third innings in relief.


The Golden Hawks tallied two home runs on the day. Obarowski had a dinger in the fifth inning. Jared Ennis went deep in the sixth inning.


The Golden Hawks tallied nine hits on the day. Obarowski led the Golden Hawks with three hits in three at bats. The Golden Hawks didn’t commit a single error in the field. Luke Gregory had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.

Gus Natelli went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Neshaminy in hits. Neshaminy was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Dalton Turner made the most plays with nine.
