Golden Hawks Claims Victory Over Ontario In Blow-Out Fashion, 11-1


The Golden Hawks easily dispatched Ontario 11-1 on Sunday.

Ontario fired up the offense in the first inning. Ontario scored one run on a stolen base.


The Golden Hawks put up four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Golden Hawks was led by Joe Purcell and Gianni Gilch, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Drew LaPolice led things off on the pitcher’s mound for the Golden Hawks. He allowed two hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

Matt Weaver started the game for Ontario. He lasted two innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out two. Colin Mabee and Ethan Hedrick entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.


The Golden Hawks had ten hits in the game. Emilio PallantePat Gannon, and Collin Schaffer all collected multiple hits for the Golden Hawks.
