Northampton Bombers Junior Legion ran off with the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Boyertown Bear Cubs (2018) on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Northampton Bombers Junior Legion batting in the top of the seventh when Alex Cucinotta singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Northampton Bombers Junior Legion fired up the offense in the first inning. Jonathon Pinciotti grounded out, scoring two runs.
Boyertown Bear Cubs (2018) knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the sixth inning, when Legerton’s sac fly scored one run for Boyertown Bear Cubs (2018).
Zach Ramirez led things off on the hill for Northampton Bombers Junior Legion. He surrendered three runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out two.
DiGuglielmo was on the pitcher’s mound for Boyertown Bear Cubs (2018). He surrendered two runs on four hits over three innings, walking one. Hoffman and Willing entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
