Villanova Earns #1 Seed in the East

The NCAA Tournament Field was announced this evening and Villanova earned the #1 Seed in the East Region.

This is the fourth time the Wildcats have earned a #1 Seed. The first was in 2006 when the Cats advanced to the Elite Eight. Villanova also earned a #1 Seed in 2015 and 2017.

If the Wildcats advance to the Round of 32, on Saturday they will take on the winner of the opening round game between #8 Seed Virginia Tech and #9 Seed Alabama.
Villanova held their Selection Sunday festivities on campus at the Connelly Center again this season.
